Enter into His Gates with Thanksgiving

With the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, I'm reminded of all that the King of Kings has done for each of us...and all that HE is to us. First and foremost, I'm incredibly thankful for Him choosing ME, a wretched sinner, to be His child...and for rescuing me from being eternally separated from Him. We have so much to be thankful for, it's hard to know where to begin...or where to end. His blessings are abundant and overflowing. I hope that this Thanksgiving, each of you "enter His gates with [wholehearted] thanksgiving." It is not only a command for us to be thankful unto the Lord for all that He has done and given to us, but it is how we please and bring honor and glory to our King, the One whom we serve. May we ever be mindful that HE is the reason we exist...and apart from HIM, we are nothing!

~PSALM 100~

Make a joyful shout to the LORD,

all you lands!

Serve the LORD with gladness;

Come before His presence with singing.

Know that the LORD, He is God;

It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;

We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,

And into His courts with praise.

Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

For the LORD is good;

His mercy is everlasting,

And His truth endures to all generations.

Happy Thankgiving,

Jena
