Laminin, Chris Tomlin and a Cripple from Paris

Behold...laminin! :) Notice it's exquisit shape and seemly design...for design indeed it is. OK, explanation required...I have not lost it...this is one of the most amazing things I've learned in a long time (meaning since Set-apart life which has been a long time). Laminin is a thing (highly scientific explanation) in our body. Without laminin our cells couldn't stick together...literally we would fall apart. It keeps our skin elastic, it keeps our muscles...well muscles. In short, this simple protein, that is shaped like a cross, holds us together. AKA...the cross holds us together. God designed our bodies to be held together by this cell that is reminiscent of the cross! Wow!

Well...that concludes diagram A. The second diagram is as follows:

This is Chris Tomlin raising his hand, supposedly in praise. The picture to the right is representative of the trifecta that went on tour about a week ago called the "How Great is Our God Tour." I attended the concert in Colorado Springs and Louie Giglio (see picture 2b in Diagram B) enlightened me to laminin...thus my discourse on the fabulous aspects of laminin. It was a great night of worship and I was really blessed by these humble worship leaders.

Now on to Diagram C:

It will be represented by a harp...because the aforemention (look at the title) cripple from paris was also a friend of mine who was a missionary in Paris who played the harp for rich people and was making an impact in a very affluent area of the world. We shall call her Anne Marie. About a year ago she was hit by a checkoslovakian renegade in Paris. It crushed her leg and forced her return to the states for surgeries and the like. She had come very close to losing her leg. But over the course of this year the surgeries have enabled her to walk without crutches...but she still walked with tremendous pain and some parts of her leg were completely numb.

Now for the climax, after Louie expounded Laminin to our minds, Chris Tomlin led an amazing service of worship. At the end Anne Marie was sitting down in tears. We asked what was wrong..................drumroll.................................................................................She said, "Nothings wrong, I can feel no pain and I can actually FEEL my leg for the first time in a year!!!"

We were like, "Woah! Praise God!"

In conclusion...we are held together by the cross (aka Laminin), if the "How Great is Our God Tour" comes near you GO (period), and Anne Marie is healed because of the powerful act of praising God...which only comes by the Spirit.

For His renown,

BenZ

I saw the laminin thing on Louie's dvd thing about the human body...the name of which escapes me.

One day I'll post the whirlpool galaxy thing he shows.

I feel so far away from you guys and alienated. Joshua's strength and Caleb's courage are what keeps me pioneering.

The romancee that is happening inside me between God and I is becoming more and more central to life. I'm beginning to see that what truly makes the cross incredible and split history and the world in two there isn't this "great teacher" that the world sees, it's simply grace. I hope I never fail to see the enormity of that word again.

Grace keep you all, hold me in your prayers.

That is amazing. It's funny because my parents just went to that concert last night and my mom came home and told me all about laminin!

Amazing, Ben. Thanks for sharing. The tour is coming to Lansing MI on Valentines Day, so I most likely will not be able to go because I work with the youth group at my church on Wed. nights. I really wish I could go, but hearing your testimony was amazing.

God bless you all as we live Set Apart for His glory,
~Brenda
