Read Psalm 107 sometime soon if you need to meditate on His goodness, attentive care, and power to His children. Four times in this Psalm, the author repeats,
"Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness,
and for His wonderful works to the children of men!"
My prayer today is that the Lord would FILL me with these praises for all that He has done and is doing now today in my life! And I so happen to have something to praise Him for and declare with you, my friends...
Recently I have had a need and have been asking the Lord to provide for the specific amount...
I received two letters yesterday. Out of the letters fell ‘gifts’ that totaled the exact amount I have been praying for. With tears I knelt to give thanks for His love and faithfulness – I AM IN HIS SIGHT! Then in reading the letters, I found that one of the gifts was made out to me, but not to be spent FOR me. A dear sister in the Lord gave a gift for me to use for any needs that have arisen in our home due to a new roommate moving in.
In this the Lord said, "I AM your Provider for all things and I can meet this need fully, and so I show you, my child. But, in showing you I desire to also show you that you cannot hold tightly to my gifts but must surrender them back to me. Continue to trust and lean upon me, for I will supply."
We must not walk according to our own sight, for we see dimly and only a small portion. May we trust and thus walk according to the lead of our Jesus, who sees ALL things and perfects His work in us accordingly.
He is good. I love Him. I declare that He is matchless!
Dear friends, as you also taste of His goodness today, declare it to one another. Let us see not only His faithfulness to US, but to one another.
"...declare HIS works with rejoicing!" Psalm 107:22
HIS and yours,
Annie

Amen, Annie! Thank you for your sweet post. Yes. He IS Good! He IS Matchless!!! He is FAITHFUL!!!
I did read Psalm 107 today while at work with a little down time. One thing that spoke to my heart was the patience and faithful love of the Lord toward His people!! It begins with the Israelites turning away time and time again... and each time they get themselves in a quandary... it says, "Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble; He saved them out of their distress" (vs. 6, 13, 19, 28). Wow!!!
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. -Psalm 107:1
God's abundant blessings on you, Annie. You are such a blessing and encouragement to me as I walk this road with I AM. :-)
