Freedom!

I was just browsing through various songs on I-Tunes when I found this song. It spoke to me in a huge way because these are the words God spoke to me this past week. I found freedom in a very big area because God finally got a hold of my heart and showed me He wanted to heal me. I encourage you to read the folllowing lyrics and accept the freedom that God freely offers us. He sent HIS son to die for ME!! He sent JESUS to die for YOU!!! There is no sin too great that OUR SAVIOR'S blood cannot atone for. I for a long time was a prisoner where the door was wide open and I had a key to the chains, but I didn't walk out. I have begun the long journey of healing and I know without a doubt that my SAVIOR has atoned for my every sin. I freely receive this freedom!

I encourage you to read the folllowing lyrics and accept the freedom that God freely offers us.

She Must and Shall Go Free
words by william gadsby, music by derek webb & sandra mccracken
mercy speaks by Jesus’ blood
hear and sing, ye sons of God
justice satisfied indeed
Christ has full atonement made
Jesus’ blood speaks loud and sweet
here all Deity can meet
and, without a jarring voice
welcome Zion to rejoice

“all her debts were cast on me,
and she must and shall go free”

peace of conscience, peace with God
we obtain through Jesus’ blood
Jesus’ blood speaks solid rest
we believe, and we are blest

should the law against her roar
Jesus’ blood still speaks with power
“all her debts were cast on me,
and she must and shall go free”
chorus

It is so true Abby...I am so glad God used this incredible song to re-iterate His freeing grace to you. You have blessed me (and all of us) by sharing how God has freed you...in a fresh way. It remind's me of "Marvelous Light," by Charlie Hall...

'Lift my hands and spin around.
See the Light that I have found
Oh the Marvelous Light
Marvelous Light
It's Christ in You!!!'

Both of those songs are amazing.

I can somewhat relate to being chained yet having the key to unlock the chains. Since I started back to nursing school, I've felt "prisoner" to it & to the craziness of life that it entails. When I read this it reminded me...God takes our burdens as His own; we have been rescued!

The following David Crowder Band lyrics (from the song "Stars") have come to my mind:

And you should feel the sun in the spring
Comin' out after a rain
Suddenly all is green
Sunshine on everything
I can feel it now, I feel You now

And how could such a thing
Shine its light on me
And make everything beautiful
