For Bands/Books - see my profile.

Speakers: Joshua Harris, Elisabeth Elliot, Eric Ludy, Max Lucado, John Piper, Adrian Rogers, Les Beauchamp, all come to mind.

Other encouragement on my walk has come from:
-"No Compromise: The Life Story of Keith Green" by Melody Green. This was the one Eric's sister gave to him before he got serious with God. I can't recommend it strongly enough if you haven't read it. It will change your life.
-"Passion & Purity" & "Quest for Love" & really anything by Elisabeth Elliot. She is probably the single most influential author/speaker/role model in my Christian walk.
-Eric & Leslie Ludy's ministry from when it started till now has blessed my walk SO much, and encouraged me to grow
-a drama/mime/evangelist named Brian Randone - this man of God came to my church when I was 13, and the result of his utterly passionate, sold-out, surrendered life to the Lord was my re-commitment to Christ.
-Rachel Joy Scott, martyr of the Columbine High School Tragedy was also instrumental in my early teen years, as I read her journals and testimony. Wow. She had a huge impact on my life in my boldness to LIVE OUT what I believed.
-"Sister Freaks" by Rebecca St. James & "Hearts of Fire" by Voice of the Martyrs both are recent reads, and incredible books for Christian women - if you're looking for encouragement to live a surrendered life and what God can and WILL do with your living sacrifice... read these two.
-John Piper's sermons and books have also been a HUGE blessing. www.desiringgod.org
